Xerion Capital Partners Offices

New York, New York, USA, 2003

This Manhattan office space has been created for the hedge fund that emphasizes transparency and communication in its investment process. The space was planned to facilitate and aesthetically reflect these values. A series of glass walls define the space, with one 55 foot by 9 foot tall lateral division spanning the length of the interior on a slight angle allowing for an open passageway between the front and back rooms. The central focal point is a large holographic projection on glass showing moving financial information.

By definition, Xerion is the "elixir of life," an alchemist's material that transforms common unappreciated or unrecognized bases. Along both sides of the long glass wall a deeply shadowed, nonlinear, crystalline ride ascends. The layered signs and symbols are formed from traces of feedback loops, food chains, bubbles, channels, self-references, price points, growth charts, currency, etc - a financially fabled, timeless economy space at once converging and swarming, rising, and falling - oceanic and tide-like; it is witness to its cyclical and infinite nature.
